About The Role

We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with a Working Foreman based  on site at Knapp Mill WTW

You will report directly to the Site Manager and your role will involve administrate and control of all site resources required along with general site duties, to complete construction in the most efficient manner, to the specification and within the contract time and cost allowances, without risk to the health and safety of all concerned and providing a quality product ensuring good customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • implementation of the Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies and Targets.
  • Comply as appropriate, with the processes and procedures contained within MWH
  • Suggestions of improvements to the MWH systems when they become apparent.
  • Awareness of the need to satisfy customer requirements with the aim of enhancing the customers’ perception and satisfaction.
  • Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with C.D.M. Regulations and compliance with the Company safe working practices.
  • Assist in the preparation of construction programmes, preparation of Method Statements, Action Plans and Risk Assessments.
  • Implement the latest H & S regulations and legislation.
  • Ensure all labour, plant and materials are procured in a timely manner to ensure delivery of the contract programme.
  • Keep abreast of Employment Law and Regulations.
  • Produce data as required to facilitate accurate reporting for inclusion in Management Reports as requested by the site/project manager. This includes (but is not limited to) monthly SMQSE reports, Improve It reports, NCR reports, accident reports and waste returns.

About You

Essential
  • Experience in working on large water/wastewater construction sites
  • Previous experience a as working Forman
  • Appropriate tickets and qualifications including CSCS, SMSTS
  • CPCS Telehandler Certification
  • Blue Water Hygiene Card
