About The Role

We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with a MEICA Asset, Storage and Deployment Coordinator - Commissioning Support, Site based within the UU Region.

You will report directly to the Mechanical Manager initially, then the Commissioning Manager as project progresses. Supporting the ADP MEICA Delivery Team with the receiving of all MEICA assets at the Oswestry project, storing appropriately and organising deployment to the MEICA  sub contract installation teams. 

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Liaise with MEICA team with regard to the planning and undertaking of suitable storage and workshop facilities on the project
  • Liaise with the Civils team in the preparation of storage areas
  • Prepare for MEICA deliveries planned from procurement schedule
  •  Be commercially aware, both internally and externally
  • To provide cost effective system of storage, coordination and capturing asset data on digital platforms.
  • To assure effective documentation of the MEICA process, including data and as built documentation, input to O&Ms and feedback to the design disciplines.
  • Provide commissioning assistance to MWHT commissioning engineers
  • Recognise the importance of satisfying the customer as the key to achieving other objectives.
  • To continue to develop personally and technically.
  • Participate in the acquisition and storing of business and technical knowledge, and the use of those stored intellectual assets.
  • Maintain Health and Safety levels during the MEICA installation and commissioning activities.
  • Recognise that Health and Safety considerations are central to all tasks, and contribute to ensuring safe working environment for all.
  • Report safety issues responsibly, and participate in improving practice.
  • Ensure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking/conferences/associations/groups, to stay current on industry changes and innovations. 
  • Maintain a positive and solution oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
  • Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
  • In all internal and external contact, present a professional and positive image of the Project and Advance Plus as well as maintaining mutually constructive, positive and beneficial relationships.

  • Strong communication skills at all levels with the client, supplier, contractors and design teams – both written and oral.
  • Computer literate with good understanding of appropriate software packages.
  • A basic appreciation of water processes, clean and waste.
  • Participate in continuous improvement both personal and company wide

About You

Essential:

  • MEICA P&ID and digital systems
  • Working within a certified quality management system
  • Willingness to learn and progress
  • Site based Health and Safety requirements (CSCS)
  • Clean Water Blue Card

Desirable:

  • Process control systems
  • Working within a certified quality management system.
  • Working with subcontract suppliers
