About The Role

The Commercial Manager will play a pivotal role in spearheading commercial strategies, fostering client relationships, and driving profitability within the Southwest Water Region. This position will directly report to the Regional Commercial Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement commercial strategies in line with company objectives.
  2. Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring that contracts are in the best interests of MWHT.
  3. Risk Management: Identify commercial risks and proactively mitigate them.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  5. Change Management : Identify contact change and proactively mitigate them.
  6. Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, ensure cost efficiency, and drive profitability.
  7. Team Leadership: Mentor, guide, and supervise the commercial team to achieve departmental goals.

About You

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a commercial management role, preferably within the water sector.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proficient in contract management and risk assessment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
